Christchurch Wine & Food Society (Inc)

Our Society is one of the oldest Wine & Food Societies in New Zealand, being formed in 1956.  The objectives of the Society are to promote an appreciation of wines and foods, to encourage forum discussion upon them, and to provide members with opportunities to meet with one another and to entertain their friends.

The Christchurch Wine & Food Society meets approximately every six to eight weeks for events ranging from luncheon and dinner functions through to wine tastings.  The Society owns a large cellar of fine wines from the world's wine-producing areas, and from this cellar our cellarmasters select wines for each occasion to complement the function menu.
